featuring ocean, golf or marsh views.
The resort's 54-hole championship golf course, offers something for all golfers from pristine marsh views to the challenge of seven holes playing directly along the ocean.
Other resort features include 23 tennis courts, a health and fitness facility, 24 swimming pools, 7 restaurants, 2 lounges, shopping village, full-service spa and a year-round supervised age-specified youth program. There are also endless amounts of shaded biking and walking trails and miles of secluded Atlantic beach for shelling and swimming.
ACCOMMODATIONS
The ocean view Amelia Inn & Beach Club, offering 249 luxury hotel rooms, as well as a spectacular two-tiered pool deck, complements everything that is Amelia. All private balconies face the ocean and are a delightful place for an early morning breakfast while enjoying the sunrise.
Guestrooms. The hotel rooms and villas of Amelia Island Plantation provide guests with the finest furnishings. Rooms in the main hotel have mini bars while villas offer fully equipped kitchens, dining areas, spacious living rooms, and washers and dryers. All units have cable television and private balconies or patios. Guests staying in the villas can choose between a view of the ocean or a view of the resort.
The "Villas of Amelia" provide guests with special features, room configurations and amenities. Ocean and resort view hotel rooms, one, two and three bedroom villas are available and are attentively maintained. Many have ocean views, or line the fairways of the golf courses, others adjoin the tennis courts at Racquet Park or overlook the relaxing marsh. Each villa is unique and different, most feature fully equipped kitchens, dining areas, spacious living rooms, multiple baths and private bedrooms. Most villa complexes have at least one pool.

The Recreation Department offers daily activities including games, contests, crafts, clinics, and lessons. Our staff specializes in fun for all ages, unforgettable experiences and lifelong memories. It is our goal to provide you with a fantastic variety of children's activities and family fun to enrich your total resort experience. From our award-winning kids' camp to poolside activities, we cater to guests of all ages.
Four 18-hole championship golf courses, including the Royal Amelia Golf Course three miles from the resort entrance, wind throughout the resort. Complimentary shuttle service to Royal Amelia is provided. Scattered throughout the property are 23 pools, 23 clay tennis courts, some with bleacher seating, and a fully staffed health and fitness center with an indoor lap pool.
A beauty salon and luxury spa pamper visitors in a 25-room facility. A nature center with groomed trails offers hiking, biking, kayaking and guided Segway tours. Clothing, golf and specialty shops can be found in a small shopping village at the entrance of the resort, and seven sumptuous restaurants are among the many amenities offered at Amelia Island Plantation. Conference facilities feature more than 49,000 square-feet of versatile function space to accommodate banquets, parties and conferences of all sizes. The Beach Club is home to the resort's two large outdoor pools, children's pool, and hot tub.

When the aromas of fresh shrimp and artichoke lump crab ravioli drizzled in an eggplant and roasted tomato cream overwhelm your senses, you will know you have truly reached culinary bliss. The succulent taste of a free range chicken breast over arugula, roasted with mascarpone cheese and black truffle risotto will tempt your taste buds and bring you coming back for more. Savor the Bolivian “Wild” Chocolate Cake with warm Armagnac ice cream as you relax to the sweet sounds of the Atlantic Ocean.

THE SPA
To best begin your experience, allow yourself time to check in, receive your locker and prepare for your visit. Arrive at least 20 minutes prior to your appointment for body services.
You will be welcomed by a spa attendant and shown to the women's or men's dressing room where you will change into a luxurious robe and slippers. Then our comfort concierge will show you to a relaxation area overlooking our meditation garden and offer a refreshment. Your therapist will escort you to a private treatment room and leave the room while you disrobe. For a full body massage, most people undress completely although you may wear undergarments if it helps you feel more comfortable. During the massage you will be covered at all times; only the area of the body being treated is exposed. The benefits of hydrotherapies are best received without clothing. If you wish, however, a bathing suit may be worn. Before any body service such as a massage, wrap or salt glow, please shower.
For your good health, we ask that you drink plenty of water two hours before and after treatments.
Our spa programmers can recommend combinations of services that complement each other and achieve your desired outcome. We do request that you disclose to the therapists any medical condition and/or prescription medication that you are taking.
