The Four Seasons Hotel Milano is a dramatically reborn 15th-century convent with a mere 118 rooms and suites, the intimate Four Seasons is steps from Milan's couture houses and financial district on the exclusive Via Gesù between Via Montenapoleone and Via della Spiga.

Originally a 15th-century convent, Four Seasons Hotel Milan offers 118 spacious guest rooms and suites surrounding a peaceful, landscaped courtyard. The Hotel's guest rooms blend historic architectural details with contemporary Italian design.

Guest Rooms:

•Four Seasons Executive Suite
Four Seasons Executive Suites are remarkably spacious, with separate sleeping and living quarters and each one is different. All overlook the quiet courtyard or the fashionable Via Gesù.

A large entryway leads to a stylish and comfortably furnished living room that includes modern entertainment conveniences and an intimate dining area.
The opulently marbled master bathroom includes a lavish vanity, deep European soaking tub, bidet, walk-in shower, heated marble floors and towel rack, and steam-resistant mirrors; in some suites, a guest powder room adjoins the living room.

•Four Seasons Junior Suite
Four Seasons Junior Suites offer ample space for work, leisure or entertaining and no two are alike. Each is designed around the original 15th-century architecture, preserving features such as high ceilings; some suites feature step-out balconies.

Located throughout the Hotel, they overlook the Hotel courtyard or Via Gesù.
Each suite features an open space living and bedroom area with a loveseat, two armchairs, coffee table, writing desk, TV and VCR.

•Deluxe Room
Deluxe Rooms are unusually spacious, with custom-loomed carpets and Italian designer fabrics and no two rooms are alike. They overlook one of the Hotel's quiet courtyards or Via Gesù.

The sitting area is comfortably and stylishly furnished with a divan, armchair, coffee table, TV, VCR and writing desk.

•Superior Room
Superior Rooms offer a picturesque view of the fashionable Via Gesù and no two are quite alike.

Suites:

•Royal Suite
Occupying the entire fifth floor of the Hotel, the Royal Suite offers luxurious accommodations with an elegant space perfect for relaxing or business meetings. This privately accessed suite overlooks central Milan and the Duomo. It can be reserved in combination with a Deluxe Room and an Executive Suite, both located on the floor below and connected by an internal private staircase, to become either a two- or three-bedroom suite.

Offering a breathtaking view of Milan, the 35-square-metre (377-square-foot) rooftop terrace is complemented by a garden and a reading room with a fireplace.
The living space is suitable for quiet contemplation or informal business meetings and has a fully equipped kitchenette.
The lavish bedroom includes a sitting room, a dressing room and its own balcony.
The opulently marbled bathroom includes a lavish vanity, deep soaking tub, bidet, walk-in shower, heated marble floors, steam resistant mirrors and a balcony. There is also a guest powder room off the living area.

•Visconti Suite
The magnificent Visconti Suite is truly one-of-a-kind. It features such luxurious touches as a whirlpool, a living room with vaulted wooden ceilings and a working marble fireplace. Large French windows offer a view of the cloistered courtyard.

The living room is stylishly furnished with two large, overstuffed sofas facing the fireplace; the elegant dining room has an adjacent kitchen.
The opulently marbled bathroom includes a separate dressing area, lavish vanity, whirlpool tub, Turkish bath, bidet and walk-in shower, heated marble floors and towel rack, and steam-resistant mirrors.

•Fashion One-Bedroom Suite
Each of the three Fashion Suites is exceptionally luxurious, with hardwood foyers and soaring ceilings. Each is also unique in design and layout: One features large French doors opening onto a private terrace; another has three large windows overlooking the main courtyard; and the third has small step-out balconies overlooking the main courtyard.

Two Fashion Suites are one-bedroom suites with a separate living room; the third is a very large studio room with a stucco ceiling and wooden canopy bed (pictured above).
All suites offer a stylish and comfortably furnished sitting area and a large marble or wooden desk in the work area.
Each bedroom or sleeping area has a king bed and walk-in closet.

•Cloister One-Bedroom Suite
Each Cloister Suite is distinctive and preserves individual features of the Hotel's original architecture, such as vaulted ceilings and frescoes.

All suites offer a stylish and comfortably furnished sitting area and a large wooden desk in the work area. The bedroom has a king bed and ample closet space. The opulent marble bathroom includes a lavish vanity, deep European soaking tub, bidet, walk-in shower, heated marble floors and towel rack, and steam-resistant mirrors.

•Bi-Level Suite
The lovely Bi-Level Suites are split on three levels: the bedroom is steps above and the bathroom just steps below the living and dining area. Each preserves individual features of the original architecture, such as vaulted ceilings, and offers large French windows with a view of the lush private gardens.

A hardwood-floored foyer leads to the stylish living room with its comfortable seating, marble bar, TV's, VCR, credenza and writing desk.
The bedroom features two walk-in closets.

Shiatsu, traditional Thai, pressure point and aromatherapy massage treatments must be reserved in advance, to ensure that a therapist certified to perform these treatments is available on the requested date.

•Swedish massage
Using traditional techniques, this invigorating massage works to relieve stress, recharge and re-energize, leaving you in a tranquil state.

•Ayurvedic massage
This healing, soothing and detoxifying massage is based on the principles of the ayurvedic system of medicine. It treats mind and body through stimulating and balancing the chakras, the major centers of energy and spiritual power in the body. The treatment uses pure sesame oil.

•Reflexology
Reflex points corresponding to specific areas of the body are stimulated in this treatment, helping to increase circulation and promote the release of stress.

•Aromatherapy massage
This treatment combines the power of touch with the sensory experience of smell. Individually selected essential oils promote an immediate feeling of well-being.

For slimming – patchouli, sandalwood, tonka bean and lemongrass
For firmness: mint, lemongrass, rosewood, wheat germ and hazelnut
For circulation – cypress, angelica, lavender, pepper and hazelnut

Pressure point massage

Acupressure is an ancient Chinese body treatment, given through the clothing. Pressure points are stimulated, encouraging the flow of energy throughout the body and improving circulation. Like its Japanese equivalent, shiatsu, acupressure requires no needles. Instead, the therapist applies pressure with thumbs, palms, heels of the hands, elbows and sometimes knees and feet.

•Shiatsu massage
Shiatsu balances the body's energy through various stretching and stimulation techniques. The therapist focuses on points along the acupuncture meridians, using thumbs, elbows, knees or feet. No needles are used. The pressure used varies from client to client.

•Traditional Thai massage
This ancient massage technique (also known as yoga massage) has been handed down for centuries. By applying pressure along the energy lines of the body, as well as stretching the muscles, Thai massage stimulates and eases energy flow, replacing tension and stress with a feeling of energy and peace.

All manicures and pedicures include a softening soak, cuticle removal, filing, shaping, nail buffing and an application of lotion and polish.

•Il Teatro
Il Teatro, the Hotel's main restaurant, is located on the lower lobby level overlooking the inner Il Patio garden. It also offers a private dining room that can accommodate up to 12 guests.

Il Teatro serves up a menu that changes frequently to highlight the freshest local ingredients, as well as a gourmet menu that changes daily. Vegetarian selections and a children's menu are available. Il Teatro is consistently ranked among the city's top five restaurants, with cuisine expertly prepared by Executive Chef Sergio Mei and his culinary team. Seats 70 in the restaurant, 12 in the private dining room.

•La Veranda
The Hotel's all-day-dining restaurant, La Veranda seats 68 guests in an elegant and tranquil atmosphere. The restaurant faces the beautiful cloistered courtyard and is a very popular venue among fashionable locals.

Specialties
Celebrity Executive Chef Sergio Mei and his brigade of 28 white hats serve innovative Mediterranean cuisine with an accent on seasonal fresh ingredients. Vegetarians may choose their favorite recipes from a strictly vegetarian menu.

A colorful menu, specially designed for children, is available.

LOUNGES:

•Il Foyer
Il Foyer is the Hotel's relaxed and elegant lounge, offering light hors d'oeuvres, snacks, desserts and cocktails. Located in the main lobby, where the convent's church stood over 500 years ago, its walls are adorned with a collection of sketches that Filippo Peroni made for Teatro alla Scala. In the winter, a glowing fire creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Piano entertainment Monday to Saturday from 7:30 pm to 11:30 pm.

Early arrivals and late departures:
If your arrival is early in the day and you prefer immediate access to your room, we recommend reserving for the prior night to guarantee immediate access. Similarly, for late departures, reserving an additional night will guarantee access until you leave the Hotel. If you choose not to reserve, we will be glad to store your bags and make our fitness facilities available for you to freshen up.

Cancellation policy:
Cancellations for a room reservation must be received 24 hours prior to 4:00 pm local time on the expected day of arrival, and may differ by arrival date and room type. If cancellation of a guaranteed reservation is not received by the required date, the Hotel will charge for one night's accommodation.
