The Resort’s 18 suites and 42 villas offer the ultimate in privacy and comfort – a tropical haven set in the lush Ayung River valley. Guest accommodations reflect the exotic surroundings, featuring Indonesian furnishings and local handmade fabrics.

Royal Villa
Enter the Royal Villa through its rooftop, where your own lily pond and private meditation areas await, surrounded by stunning views of the forest highlands and rice terraces in the Sayan valley. Below, is a palatial, three-bedroom residence, with an abundance of exceptional features, terraced through the prime, river-side setting.

Below the lily pond, the first floor is furnished with a day bed and chairs, and the veranda is flanked on either side by a king bedroom and twin bedroom, each with spacious bathrooms. The third bedroom and bathroom opens on to a private garden area.
The stairway descends to an air-conditioned dining room for six guests, a large, comfortable living room and kitchen.
The Royal Villa has a private 43 square meter (470 square foot) plunge pool and an outdoor shower surrounded by lush gardens.
Near the water feature, a large Balinese, open-sided living and dining 'bale' overlooks the river, offering an alternative and very special place to entertain or relax.

Sayan Villa
With breathtaking valley views from the Resort's highest point, the one-of-a-kind Sayan Villa offers the utmost in privacy and comfort, as ideal for honeymooners as for a rewarding executive retreat.

A flowing water feature, lily ponds and lush garden flank the villa's private entry; in-villa registration adds to the sense of privacy.
The lobby leads to the oversized living spaces, including a six-seat dining room and the choicest selection of hand-made furnishings.

The spacious bedroom features a four-poster canopy bed, a 66-centimetre (26-inch) television and CD unit.

Spa villas

The three spa villas reflect the elegant Balinese architecture of the Resort. Natural materials combine with native designs in such blissful elements as teak wood cabinets and flooring, hand-blown glass wash basins, hand-loomed Sulawesi silk furniture coverings, customized terrazzo massage tables and thatched roofs.

Each of the spa villas accommodates tandem treatments for couples. For convenience, they are connected to outdoor bathing pavilions offering steam showers, while large soaking tubs with adjacent open-air showers discreetly overlook private garden courtyards. The close proximity of the fast-flowing Ayung River provides a soothing natural accompaniment to the treatments provided by the Resort’s highly trained therapists.

 
The Dining Experience:

Ayung Terrace
Elegantly situated on the crest of a lush gorge, Ayung Terrace offers breathtaking views of the river below. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Seating for 24 is available in the dining room, an outdoor terrace area accommodates 40 people, and an adjacent wine cellar area seats eight.

Specialties
The inspired menu offers a selection of innovative, contemporary Asian-style cuisine and Indonesian specialties. The chef also creates unique specials each day. A children's menu is available.

Balinese Cooking Classes
The Resort Chef invites you to experience a hands-on approach to the exotic world of Balinese cooking.

Our cooking excursion begins at 8:00 am with an escorted outing to the local market, where you will see an abundant selection of fresh fruits, vegetables and spices and, if you prefer, the chef will conduct a tour of our gardens and show you where we grow herbs, vegetables and spices. This garden tour is followed by an informative class in the Ayung Terrace kitchen.
