Holland America Line's commitment to service continues
into the new millennium with new ships, expanded
destinations and on-board product enhancements that will

The
new year features the inaugural seasons of three brand
new ships, the 1,440-passenger sister ships ms Volendam
and ms Zaandam and the 1,380-passenger ms Amsterdam, as
well as expanded offerings in Europe, the Caribbean and
Alaska.
Additional new features which travelers will find
exciting include Panama Canal cruises from
Fort Lauderdale to Puerto Caldera, Costa Rica, with a
diverse mix of pre- and post-cruise tour packages that
include Nicaragua as well as the volcanoes and rain
forests of Costa Rica.
Holland America is also introducing the ms Maasdam on
Canada/New England itineraries and has fine-tuned its
in-depth South America Explorer cruise series to combine
the Panama Canal with the west coast of South America,
the rugged beauty of the southern fjords and the
excitement of overnights in Buenos Aires and Rio.
Among the new developments travelers will enjoy on board
are menu upgrades in
the dining room, Lido casual dining, an expanded
