Accessible only by private launch, this
exclusive resort is set on the tip of
Motu Piti Aau, a 10-kilometer-long islet
just off the southeast coast of Bora
Bora. It features 96 beachfront and
overwater bungalows arrayed around or a
private lagoon and in the surrounding
waters of the atoll. Accommodations
blend an island-inspired decor of
burnished hardwoods, louvered windows,
and thatched ceilings with modern
amenities, including air conditioning,
minibar, and CD/DVD players. Resort
amenities include two restaurants, one
bar, and a spa with a full menu of
massages, scrubs, and other soothing
treatments.
The
resort offers an impressive array of
water sports and other aquatic
activities. Guests can swim with
protected sea turtles in the resort
lagoon, feed local rays and shaks, and
learn to sail a traditional Polynesian
sailing canoe. An outdoor pool,
complimentary water-sports equipment,
and child-sized water toys are
available, along with scuba diving,
water skiing, catamaran cruises, and
guided Jet Ski excursions (surcharges
apply). Complimentary boat shuttle to
the village of Anau on the main island
of Bora Bora is also provided.
